机构介绍

The JUMP! Foundation is an experiential education provider that was established in 2006 in response to what its founding members saw as a need in youth education for programs that address issues of leadership and global citizenship. In an increasingly “flatter” and more globalized  world, the founders believed it was important to create a platform to facilitate awareness among youth not only of their own communities, but also awareness of the different communities around the world.

Today, JUMP! has a strong network of facilitators, partners, and advisors across the globe. We are a collaborative platform for participants to come together to challenge themselves, inspire one another, and affect change in their surroundings. JUMP! has delivered programs in Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America. We have utilized the outdoors, cityscapes, and other environments to engage and challenge participants. Our activities provoke reflection, dialogue and everyday application by encouraging individual resilience and broadened horizons. To date, we have delivered our programs directly to over 15.000 participants, including youth and educators.

ABOUT THE JUMP! FOUNDATION: The JUMP! Foundation is a non-profit organization that believes in inspiring, empowering, and engaging youth through collaborative and innovative experiential learning programs. JUMP! offers a series of leadership activities suited for students at international schools and universities, including in-school workshops (JUMP! Schools programs) and outdoor adventure trips (JUMP! Experiences programs). We facilitate participants to develop personal, community, and inter-community leadership skills. To help realize our vision for a world in which young people fulfill their true potential, JUMP! donates a proportion of its revenue to support experiential youth-focused development projects around the world.

JOB Responsibilities:

1 Keeping accurate and organized financial records, including filing bank statements, invoices and expenses

2 Assisting Senior Manager of Operations with finance and accounting tasks, including but not limited to:

• Contracting, invoicing and payment tracking of all program finances. 

• Oversight on accounts receivable collection performance and progress

• Reviewing and processing reimbursement requests for program-related expenses to staff

• Preparing program performance reports including analysis of budget versus actual result

• Assisting with recruitment processes including but not limited to:

• Reviewing applications as they are received and filing them appropriately

• Tracking the application status of applicants

• Talent database management

3 Assisting the China team with various logistical responsibilities, including booking flights, transport arrangements, and arranging appointments with partner schools and vendors

4 Purchasing office supplies and program materials

5 Supporting the program team with onsite program setup

6 Other ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Senior Operations Manager

Required Qualities:

Bachelor’s degree

Possess minimum of two years of work experience, preferably in an office management, administrative, or bookkeeper role

Attentive to detail, organized, and able to multi-task

Good communication and presentation skills, and skilled in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Advanced proficiency in English (both oral and written)

PREFERRED Qualities:

Possess Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration

Possess understanding of non-profits and/or social enterprises

Conversational proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English (Fluent)

Understanding of and experience in office work procedures and practices;

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)

Reports to:

Senior Manager of Operations

Compensation:

Salary & Compensation will be commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience.
